Today Tony will lead you on a pleasant and quiet 24km or so ride along dirt roads skirting the west flank of Mt Macedon before returning to the bitumen for a fast descent down to the Macedon township (please ride safely). We will return to Woodend along a local bitumen road through the pine forest west of the Calder Hwy for well-earned refreshments. This ride will provide you a challenge in parts, so come along for a great way to get your blood pumping on these cool end-of-winter mornings.
There is a fair amount of gravel on this ride, so it is suitable for Hybrid and MTB only.

Meet for an 0930 start in the Margery Cres. carpark near the Woodend Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre is located behind the Woodend Community Centre on the corner of High St (C792) and Forest St (C317).
