Today Tony is going to take you on roads not ridden before by MBUG out to the north-west of Glenaroua. Basically it is a loop from the Glenaroua Fire Station, out Chapmans Rd to the Seymour-Tooborac Rd (C384) where you will turn right and ride about 5km in the shoulder lane of the C384 to the Bridle Track which will return you to the Glenaroua Fire station and refreshments.
The proposed 32km route may be viewed on RWGPS at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48133724
There is a great deal of gravel surface on this route so a MTB or Hybrid is recommended
Tony has offered to provide hot water, tea and coffee for the riders after the ride (teabags, instant coffee, sugar, Light and Full Cream cows milk). Please bring along your own cup and some biscuits etc to share and anything else you may want to drink if the above does not appeal. Sue is making scones, so that in itself is something worth riding for.
Meet for an 0930 start at the Glenaroua fire station.
When you arrive at the start of your ride in your car, please park well away from the fire station itself so we do not obstruct their operations or training which usually takes place on a Sunday morning.
