Don’t forget daylight Savings starts today Sunday, 4 October 2020.
At 2:00 AM clocks are turned forward 1 hour to 3:00 AM
Daylight Savings schedule – All rides now commence at 0900 unless otherwise advised
We haven’t had an opportunity to ride up Zwars Hill yet this year, so today is the day! We head out of town on the Glenaroua Road then take Three Chain Rd. turnoff to Jeffreys Lane and Mt Piper. We will leave our trusty bikes locked at the base of Mt Piper and enjoy the lovely climb to the top where magnificent views of the surrounding countryside await us. Bring a camera to take some images to show your grand-children what the countryside looked like before the Structure Plan was approved. We will return to Broadford (mostly downhill) for coffee along the C311. The ride is only 18km, however the walk to the top and the view makes the ride out there worthwhile.
There is a fair amount of gravel on this ride, so bring along your hybrid or MTB.
Bring a lock with you.
