Today Tony will lead you on a voyage of discovery along quiet roads and trails around the Heathcote township. Highlights of this ride will include The Heathcote Powder Magazine, the Rail Trail, the Caledonia Gully Reservoir, quiet backroads showcasing the Goldfields spring flowers and a visit to the famous Heathcote Pink Cliffs Geological Reserve.

Most of this ride is on gravel surfaces, so a MTB or Hybrid is recommended
Meet for an 0900 start near Gaffneys Bakery located at the corner of Jennings St and the Northern Highway in Heathcote. We suggest you consider parking further away and ride/walk back to avoid the parking scrum which occurs during busy periods and also potential parking fines.
