Today Andrew has proposed a 16km loop ride around the outskirts of the township to see more of Broadford’s beautiful countryside.
You will head out Marchbanks Road, which follows the freeway for a short distance, before heading to more peaceful riding along Davis Road and then Elliot’s Road along tree lined unsealed roads. Returning to town along Strath Creek Road you will then take a quick lap around the common and onto a well-earned coffee break.
The ride will begin at the Broadford Lions Club Park with 0930 start. Surfaces will be 50/50 gravel/sealed, so Hybrid or MTB are recommended.
