Today we have a delightful ride out of Pyalong. We took the opportunity to include a ride out to the site of the old High Camp railway station so you can see first-hand the area which is the subject of Tim Budge’s submission for Tiny Towns funding. It has a bit of climbing at the start and lots of downhill. As we leave Pyalong we climb into the picturesque granite country to the south-east of town and after admiring the view, we will ride down to the Northern Hwy. Those with road bikes can avoid the only short stretch of gravel by taking the highway to Whitegate Rd while the rest will meet them via Crawfords Rd. We then ride the lovely 10km gradual descent down to the Mollison Creek and back into Pyalong past the old trestle bridge (stop here for the obligatory photo of course).
All-bitumen, so suited to all types of bicycle.
