Sometimes it is not all about the ride even though today we will pass through lovely rolling hills and great views around Yea,  If all goes to plan, we will also visit the Providence Valley Alpaca farm courtesy of the owners, Margaret and Ian Findlay.

Ian will give us a short talk about alpacas and we will be able to walk the farm around to see the animals, with a bit of luck there will also be a couple of newborns which are due around this time.
The ride itself is relatively easy with only a couple of small(ish) hills to challenge you.  Depending on how long we spend at the Alpaca farm will have a bearing on which way we return, however the planned route is to go out via the Old Killingworth Rd and return via Limestone Rd and the Great Victorian Rail Trail (GVRT) for coffee at the Station 7 Cafe.
Much of this ride is on gravel, so MTB or hybrid is recommended
The proposed route may be viewed at http://ridewithgps.com/users/30290/routes.
Meet opposite the Yea Post Office on the Melba Hwy for an 0930 start.  A list of the MBUG ride start points may be viewed at http://g.co/maps/d4txy
