Because MBUG usually only has one ride a year along the Great Victorian Rail Trail (GVRT), Richard thought that the GVRT might be feeling a little bit neglected. To remedy this he has put another “out-and-back” style ride similar to our annual Northwood Rd. ride (coming up on November 10 hint, hint) on the calendar. With this format everyone rides at their own pace until an agreed time, at which point everyone turns around and rides back to the start. In theory all should arrive back at about the same time. Some riders choose to go like the clappers to see how far they can get, while others will choose a more sedate experience – this ride format caters for all styles.
We will have coffee at the Tallarook cafe/Post Office on our return. See you there!
Gravel surfaces so MTB or hybrid would be best.
