A few weeks ago we checked out the extent of the damage caused by the recent fire to the area around Kilmore. Today we will check out the damage around Wallan and Darraweit when we ride to Darraweit along Stockdale Rd and return to Wallan along the Romsey Rd.
About half this ride is on gravel so MTB or Hybrid is recommended. There is a significant climb back into Wallan from Darraweit which will be great training for next week’s Strath Creek Challenge ride.
