Today we celebrate the end of Daylight Savings Time  with an easy 23km ride out to the Silkie Gardens Rose Farm on McDonalds Rd , Clonbinane.  Graham and Diana Sargeant will show us around their nursery and give us a talk about roses and their journey to the organic growing techniques which now underpins the production of the high quality plants provided by this very successful business.  Following the talk, Diana has kindly offered to provide us with coffee and Noelene Pyle will bring some freshly-baked scones, jam and cream just to entice you to come along (there will also be some gluten-free options as well).  If you have a keep-cup, bring it along and use it.

Once we have all filled our heads with all things roses and our tummies with food we will (slowly) make our way back to Broadford via the Broadford-Wandong Rd.
McDonalds Lane is all gravel so this ride is best suited to MTB or Hybrid bicycles.
