Back by popular demand, this ride is evidence to support Melbourne’s claim to having the best bicycle path network in Australia. Today you will ride over 45km from Craigieburn into Docklands along the Hume Bypass path, the Merri Creek Path and the Capital City Trail. An easy ride, downhill just about all the way, and if you have a North wind it will be even better. If the group wishes, they can stop off for coffee along the way, Ceres in Brunswick is usually too busy at the weekends, however there are more good coffee shops a little further on just off the Capital City Trail in Nicholson St North Carlton. Continue into Docklands for lunch or maybe a ride on the Southern Star then catch the train back to Craigieburn. Don’t forget to bring your Myki!
Suitable for all bicycle types.
