Today we will ride west of Wallan and down to Simons Hill Rd. We follow this up to Union Lane negotiating (walking?) that short, but brutal ascent along the way. We will return for coffee along the Northern Highway with a downhill treat on the Pretty Sally Hill to finish the ride off.
This ride has a good descent to SImons Hill Rd. and another on the Pretty Sally Hill. This means of course that there exists a significant uphill section in between these two – just the thing to get you warmed up on a mid-winter ride.
